On October 27, 2018 the Safe Haven Medical Outreach held their 2nd Annual Gala and Silent Auction to help raise money in support of the organization. Principal, Secretary and Treasurer at AIPNW, Chris Liles Lucurell is also a Board Member at Safe Haven Medical Outreach and attended on their behalf as a major sponsor.

The Safe Haven’s mission is to provide intervention and support for children with disabilities and medical issues. The organization allows children and families the opportunity to access the medical and therapeutic resources they need to reach their full potential, lead healthy lives, and reach their highest level of personal independence.

Safe Haven Medical Outreach’s multidisciplinary team provides physical and occupational therapy, nursing support, education, nutritional supplements, developmental services, and social work support for almost 100 children with disabilities and complex medical problems in Siem Reap Province.

Safe Haven also supports families in accessing other health services, including dental care, speech therapy, medical equipment, hospital services, and surgical intervention, and aids them in navigating these services so they can better understand their children’s health conditions and make informed decisions about health and medical care.
